Welcome to Broadland School of Dance
The principal – Katy Carroll - is an ex-professional West End and TV performer with
many years of professional experience. She is delighted to pass on her wealth of
experience to the students who attend the school.
Our main aim is for students to have fun and enjoy the classes we provide. Every
age and ability is welcomed. We also encourage all students to achieve their own
personal best and allow them to express themselves freely.
Participating in the performing arts improves self-esteem and confidence, develops
discipline and improves concentration and motivation. It develops your problem solving
skills and your ability to think quickly. It encourages creativity and develops
skills of communication and teamwork – which are all invaluable to success in every
aspect of everyday life.
The school provides the highest standard of training in the most highly recognized
examining board – ISTD (Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing). This training
is used in the Royal Ballet School and all of the successful London stage schools
due to the ISTD’s fantastic reputation in producing amazing dancers. We also run
Acrobatic Arts classes. The syllabus teaches students 'acrobatic skills' to perform in choreographed routines. We aim to stage a theatre
production every alternate year, which is great fun and gives our students the opportunity
to take part in a live performance.
Please take a look at our timetable. Classes are held in Ballet, Tap, Modern, Jazz and Acrobatics. All teachers are fully qualified and are CRB checked.
Please feel free to contact us if you would like any further information and please
take a moment to read our testimonials from current students
It's fun & you can make lots of new friends!
